Glossary

HOME PAGE: When using the SEARCH PUBLICATIONS option on the SBRnet home page, follow Steps 1-4 below for best results.

SPECIFIC SPORT PAGES: When using the SEARCH PUBLICATIONS option on the specific sports pages, use the same Steps 1-4, except that it is not necessary to insert the specific sport in the Subject box. For example, in the “Basketball” section the word “basketball” will be automatically included as one of the search words- it is not necessary to insert it in the search box.

STEP 1
PUBLICATION BOX:  SBRnet will search all publications unless you prefer a specific publication. If so, highlight (click) that publication in the drop down menu.

STEP 2
YEAR BOX: Highlight the time period that you prefer. The default search year is 2009.

STEP 3:
SUBJECT BOX: The sports industry is unique and, in keeping with this, a glossary of industry-oriented words and phrases is provided so that you may generate valuable article menus for a wide range of topics.

SBRnet uses an exact word search and is not case sensitive; therefore using words such as and or under, or using quotation marks is neither necessary nor recommended.
